What is FORMÉA?
FORMÉA stands for “Formation en ligne pour l’Élevage en Afrique” — online training for livestock farming in Africa. We are a French organisation specialising in online livestock farming courses.

No. FORMÉA specialises in livestock farming courses adapted to the African continent.

Yes. The programmes are also for people outside the continent who want to understand livestock farming practices and challenges in Africa (Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Chad…) in order to invest in the sector.
How do I sign up?
Visit the Forméa learning platform, choose your programme (pigs and/or poultry) and follow the sign-up instructions.
Which devices can I use to follow the courses?
Computer, tablet or smartphone. For the best experience, we recommend a computer.
What format do the courses take?
Each programme combines written lessons, short easy-to-follow videos and end-of-module quizzes to check your understanding.
Can you guarantee my results?
No — your results depend on how you apply what you learn. We give you the strategies and tools; the work on the ground is up to you.
